Correct Answer: 54.82 minutes
Solution : Given: A square playground measures 1127.6164 sq. cm and a man walks $2\frac{9}{20}$ metres a minute. Let the sides of the playground be a metre. According to the question, $a^2=1127.6164$ ⇒ $a=\sqrt{1127.6164}$ ⇒ $a=33.58$ m So the perimeter of the playground = (4 × 33.58) m = 134.32 m Here, the speed of the man = $2\frac{9}{20}=\frac{49}{20}$ m/min Therefore, the time required to cover 134.32 m $=\frac{134.32}{\frac{49}{20}}=134.32×\frac{20}{49}=54.82$ minutes Hence, the correct answer is 54.82 minutes.
