Its good that you are pursuing diploma .After completing diploma you can apply for government jobs .And if you wish to pursue higher studies then you can go for lateral entery in Btech 3rd year.

There are several job vacancies coming every year for diploma students in railways,steel plants,industries,companies ,state government JE jobs etc.

There are many colleges which take admission of diploma students in 2nd year(lateral entry).These colleges release their notice on their website .

There are state engineering college which takes admission through state common entrance examination.

First of all you complete your diploma you have both the option.

its better to go for government once you are finished with graduation.graduation plays a key role for many government jobs.please complete graduation after diploma and go for government job.

for getting btech admission after diploma, you need to write ecet exam and attend counselling and secure a seat and complete the graduation.
