For BTech students, it is necessary to give GMAT only if you wish to pursue MBA.

On the other hand, for any other Masters degree, the required exam will be GRE .

In addition to either of these two exams, a student must also give an English language proficiency exam (Either TOEFL or IELTS ) since English is not the candidate's first language.

You have not specified which course you want to pursue abroad.  The exam score you are required send to study abroad does not depend on the stream you have completed your course, rather it depends upon what program you want to pursue.

For Masters courses, you are required to score well in GRE 2018 . For Management programs, universities require either a GMAT or a GRE score.
