MBBS: Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery(Doctor of human beings) .To be a MBBS doctor you have to go in a college which provide you MBBS course and degree.
BDS:Bachelor of Dental surgery (Doctor of teeth and mouth related problems).To be a BDS doctor you have to go in a college which provide you BDS course and degree.
After clearing the exam i.e when result are out.You need to apply for All india counselling and state level counselling ,Dates will be published on their respective websites(neet website, state board website).After applying ,call letter will be generated and you will go for counselling and choose college.And after counselling , whichever college is alloted to you , you may take admission in that college.

Once you crack the examination, the counseling procedure will begin which s basically a process of allotting seats to successful candidates depending on various quota in various colleges.
During counseling, you will take part in AIQ that is All India Quota Counselling and State Counselling. Both of them will occur on different dates. During counseling, which is usually online, the candidate has to fill in choices of the institutes he'd like to study at.
In those choices, you can fill dental colleges as well as medical colleges as per choice.
