The degree which you are pursuing is an AICTE approved technical course. Hence you are eligible for this scholarship.
Swami Vivekananda Merit-cum-Means scholarship provides economic aid to economically backward scholars to assist them to seek higher education in West Bengal.
The eligibility criteria involve the following rules
- Must be an occupant of West Bengal.
- Must have scored 60% marks or above in the last exam.i.e, H.S exam conducted by West Bengal Council of Higher Education.
The scholarship amount is INR 1500 per month.
