For admission in MBBS, there are three exams that you can apply for:

• AIIMS for all the AIIMS institutions
• JIPMER for JIPMER Pondicherry
• NEET for all the other medical colleges(government, private and deemed)

There are only three exams that you can give after completion of your 12th STD i.e. NEET, AIIMS and JIPMER. NEET is for admissions in all medical/dental colleges in India except for AIIMS and JIPMER which conduct their own entrance exam.

As per the directions from supreme court of India there are three medical entrance exam will held
1. NEET conduct by CBSE
2. Aiims for all 7 aiims
3. Jipmer only for jipmer Pondicherry
