As I mentioned in the last comment of the other answer, I am posting some MBA exam's self-preparation tips.

If instead of coaching you are looking for self-preparations then you need to start your preparations by focusing on mastering the basics of each section. After that only you will be able to overcome the concept of speed with accuracy which is essential to crack any MBA exam.

For quantitative ability, you can start preparing through Arun Sharma book which has a good explanation of the theory and question solutions. Also, it provides a high variety of questions with the different difficulty level.

For Verbal ability, you should start reading lots of good novels written by good authors like Charles Dickens, Agatha Christie, Sydney Sheldon etc. This will help you in improving your English Literature. For improving your vocabulary you should start memorizing 3 words daily with their meaning and correct pronunciation. You should start using these words in your daily life so that you can memorize them in a better way. For Reading Comprehension section you should start reading different passages in different newspaper, magazines etc. and understand the thought process of the author. You need to see what actually he wants to convey through his passage, to who is he targeting and his way of communication. This will help you in solving the maximum questions asked below the passage. You should also see the Arun Sharma book to check out and practice the different types of questions asked in the exam.

Along with this, you should start giving lots of online mock test and analyse solutions of each one of the thoroughly which will help you in overcoming your mistakes and come up with a strategy to definitely improve your marks and percentile. It will also help you to know about your strength and weakness which will help you in attempting easy questions first, that will reduce your chance of committing a silly mistake in an easy question or missing out an easy question. Along with this, you will also get enough time to attempt medium level difficult questions which will overall increase your speed with accuracy which leads to increase your percentile.

Testfunda, Oliveboard, hitbullseye, cracku.in, youth4work.com, bschool.careers360.com are some of the sites where you can get online mock test papers for all CAT, SNAP, XAT and other MBA exams

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!

Sarath getting direct admission in good colleges is very difficult as the top colleges give admission only on merit there is no provision of management quota. In order to get direct admission in any of the colleges you need to look for management quota (donation), you will need to pay much more than the actual fees required to get admission for that seat.

If you are interested in any colleges then you can tell me so that I can find out for you whether any of them have management quota or not.

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!

Your CGPA is good and you don't need to be scared of any competitive exam. It's better to prepare for the exams, score well and get admission in the top b-schools rather than paying more and getting direct admission in low-level colleges. I will highly recommend you to don't be afraid, take a drop of a year, prepare well for exams, score high and get good college. Don't compromise with the college because it is a lifetime tag and will channelise your whole career.

To do MBA you need to clear one of the MBA exams like CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, SNAP, NMAT etc. You can even appear in more than one exams which increases the scope of your college where you can apply. Going coachings is not mandatory. You can do self-preparation for each exam. And don't worry about the fees of any college, you can get education loans easily plus there are some scholarships also available. And better the college better will be your placement. In next 3-4 years, you will be able to pay your loan and then enjoy your growth in the career. To help you in the self-preparation I am posting tips as one more answer to your question. Please check out.
