Hi Manu ! Today in this current market without any doubt both are one of the best streams. Still I would prefer IT engineering ahead of computer science engineering due to the numerous scope of job. Due to immense growth of software companies there are too much competition in computer science streams. There has also been a craz about CSE in this current market. Whereas IT is a completely a new stream which focuses more on technical skills for example AI, Web development along with coding. But in computer a student can know very well coding doesn't get the scope of learning other technologies. In IT there is less competition than CSE. So one can get job easily in IT stream. So that is all from my part.

Hey Manu,
Both of these Branches are currently in trend. So many students have struggle choosing one. I had the same question last year when I was looking for studying further in Field of computers.
Let's talk about CSE- It's Focused on Programming And deals with Practical knowledge. A CSE students general have to be good at Coding.
When it comes to IT- It's more over a theoretical course where you learn coding too. But not in depth as A CSE student. It focus on the use of softwares rather than building it.
So what's the difference. Not Much both are quite similar. In both good coding skills are required. Which every stream you choose be it CSE/IT/ME/ECE/EE you just need to have good coding skills to get into a high profile job. Even the best part about jobs in this field is it doesn't require a degree you just need to be good at your work.
So Choose whats right for you
Best of luck
Hello Manu!
Both departments(CSE OR IT)is good .It depends only on your interest that in which stream you are interested. In Case we deals with both hardware and software and in IT we mostly deals with software.Courses are almost same in both CSE and IT.Mostly if a company company comes for placement in colleges and if it is open for cse department then it will also open for IT department.
Hope it answer your concerns.
