If you consider the curriculum, M.Sc Botany is such a course based on wide career prospectives. It deals with wide biology of plants. The job opportunities that you would get in future are
1. Park Ranger
2. Biomedical scientist
3. Nursery manager
4. Research fellow ( after PhD)
5. Ecologist
Whereas in case of Biotechnology you field will mostly be research based. You can become
1. Research analyst
2. Research scientist and many more.
