Hello Aspirant,

On January 7th 2022, Hon'ble SC allowed to conduct the NEET UG counselling to be conducted with new reservation criteria i.e. 27% for OBC quota, 10% for EWS , for SC and ST it is 15% and 7.5% respectively and for PwD it is 5% for 15% AIQ seats. But till now MCC has not released the notification and dates but it is expected soon.

NEET 2021 Cut-off goes like :-

-->>> General - 50th percentile - 720-138 marks

-->>> SC/ST/OBC - 40th percentile - 137-108 marks

-->>> General-PwD - 45th percentile - 137-122 marks

-->>> SC/ST/OBC-PwD - 40th percentile - 121-108 marks

Hi,

The final verdict of the Supreme Court regarding 27% OBC reservation and 10% EWS reservation was declared on 7th January due to which the process was being delayed. The Court has given a green signal to begin the NEET UG and PG Counselling procedure.

Hence, we can expect the counselling procedure to start soon. For the latest updates regarding the same, kindly keep visiting the official website of the Medical Council of India. So, no date is certain now and nothing is official yet.
