Hello,

To get seat in NIFT, Mumbai you need to secure the cut off rank specified for the course in which you are interested to get admission. Every year the cut off rank changes depending on the total number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc. In 2020 the cut off was as follows for NIFT, Mumbai

  • Fashion Design: 168
  • Accessory Design:473
  • Textile Design: 831
  • Knitwear Design:735
  • Fashion Communication: 103
  • BFT: 138
  • M.Des: 57
  • MFM: 53

As you haven't mentioned your category we assume that you belong to general category and the cut off that is mentioned above is for general category. You need to secure the nearest rank of the previous year cut off rank because the cut off may increase or decrease depending on the factors mentioned above.
