Government of Chhattisgarh in an order has appointed Sub Divisional Officer (Revenue) and Tehsildhar as competent officers to issue the income certificate for economically weaker sections (EWS) eligible for 10 percent reservation in jobs and educations.
The Central Government introduced 10 percent quota for the EWS among general category candidates in government jobs and educational institutions.
In the prescribed form, specified by the Government of India, the income and property certificate will be issued by the authority.
General Administration department, Government of Chhattisgarh has issued the circular to all the departments, Revenue Board chairman, all heads of departments, all divisional commissions, all district collectors and Zila Panchayat Chief Executive Officers.
