Hii Tarun.Yes,the NCERT books are sufficient to get good marks in board's mains and MHT-CET.In MHT-CET the questions are at basic level and in NCERT books content is little at advanced level .So,the student of cbse board can easily score good if his concept are clear.

Hello Tarun,

NCERT books are very helpful to score in the MHT CET ,NCERT is best

to make  strong grip on the concepts.

apart from NCERT books you can also prefer some otherbooks like-marvel's

physics and chemistry books,MHT CET Engineering Entrance Exam by Editorial

Compilation etc.

thank You.

Hope it was helpful.

Hii Tarun,

No doubt NCERT books are too good.but if you are preparing for MHT-CET ,then you you can prepare chemistry from NCERT.and for Mathematics you should prefer some other books like R D Sharma or Arihant publication.and for Physics you should try H C verma(Vol. I ,II).

hope you understand

Thank you

Hello Tarun,

Ncert is a book good for pretty much any exam be it boards, mains or CET.

I would rather recommend the state board book for MHCET than NCERT. This is just because the syllabus of MHCET is as per the state board syllabus. Also, NCERT contains some topics in detail which are not required for MHCET.

Though NCERT would be good and in case you are reading that read chemistry NCERT thoroughly and you can easily score 100/120 and for rest physics, about 30/120 and maths if practiced all the NCERT questions can get you 40/120.  It will get you a decent score (around 150+), but thoroughly studying NCERT textbooks only will get you good marks.

For further preparation, you can practice sample papers and previous year papers.

Good luck!

But NCERT will be enough. If needed you can get some CET exam orientated books or practice sample or previous year question papers for a rough idea about the pattern and level of questions. No need to start reading STATE BOARD books now.

M in 11th have changed stream to Math and deleted Math in December 2021...so i lost about 6 to 7 academic months of math so i decided to go for CET rather than Jee ... I have very less time....so tell me if I study HSC books can i score more than 150...i will also solve all past year papers from 2007 from arihant book...then is it possible??... Ncert books are so vast and i can't cover that much and also they are really advance and hard for me to cover...so i will do HSC books Of PCM and previous year papers from 2007 .. is it enough???? please tell
