Till 2018 the Students from NIOS Board was not allowed to participate in NTA NEET.

This verdict was challenged by NIOS in Court.

After the order of Delhi High Court, Students are Allowed to Participate in NEET-UG 2019.

As per verdict by Honourable Supreme court, NIOS Students are allowed in NEET-UG 2020 and now they Can also apply for NEET-UG 2021.

NIOS is a recognised open board and recognised open board students are eligible for Neet examination .

So, if you have completed your 12th or going to complete your 12th from NIOS then you don't need to worry at all ,every year a number of students pass from NIOS and appear for Neet examination and clear it as well so after your 12th from NIOS you are definitely eligible for Neet examination provided

you must have passed in English and in both the theory and practical  of PCB i.e Physics, Chemistry and Biology individually with at least  50  % in aggregate of PCB ( in theory +practical) in 12th examination  if belong to general category , or   at least  40%  in aggregate of PCB if belongs to  Obc/ Sc /st
