As I m in first semester so can I give exam of ugc net this year in January month

As per the eligibility criteria, laid down by UGC NET governing body. Candidates who have completed their master's degree with 55% marks(no rounding off) from the universities/institutions recognized by UGC in Humanities(including languages) and Social Sciences, Computer Science and application, Electronic Science etc are eligible for this test. For OBC/SC/ST/PWD candidates the minimum marks in PG is 50%.
Candidates who have appeared OR will be appearing at the qualifying Master ’s degree (final year) examination and whose result is still awaited or candidates whose qualifying examinations have been delayed may also apply for this Test.
Since you are in first semester, you can't apply as of now.
