NEET 2024: Cutoff (OBC, SC, ST & General Category)
NEET 2024 Admission Guidance: Personalised | Study Abroad
NEET 2025: Syllabus | Most Scoring concepts | NEET PYQ's (2015-24)
Around 15 lakh candidates have registered for NEET this year. From previous years there is an increase in the number of candidates this year but not in the number of seats. So there will be high competition for admissions of course. The cutoff for admission changes every year from state to state and from college to college. And so the safe marks range can't be predicted this way. 300 and near is quite a less score that can't guarantee your admission. Under 15% AIQ seats, if you wish to take admission in any other state then you need a minimum score of 560-80+ (UR category), 530+ (reserved category). Whereas for 85% state quota seats, your NEET score should be minimum 500+ to get admission in a government college. A score of 300+ can either get you a seat in private medical college under management quota or may be no seat. So to be on the safe side- Keep high target and score maximum possible to increase your chances of admission.
Good Luck.!
Hello!
Yes, you have to qualify the NEET exam for being eligible for MBBS, and to do that, you need to score around 200, taking in account of the number of increasing students appearing for the exam, but you may not be able to socre a Governement seat on basis of your category.
Good luck!
