UPSC exam is the most competitive exam for which many candidates appear in India.
Minimum qualification for UPSC exam goes like candidate must hold a degree from Government recognized University or possess an equivalent qualification. Any under graduate degree is fine.
If you are a final year student or waiting for final year results then also you can appear for UPSC preliminary exam.
The age limit for 2020 exams is as follows
The candidate should have completed 21 years as on 1st August 2020 (for the UPSC CSE 2020) and not completed 32 years as on 1st August 2020 i.e., he must have been born not earlier than 2nd August, 1988 and not later than 1st August 1999.
Also a general category student has 6 attempts for the IAS exam & there are relaxation if you belong to other caste.
So to conclude , YES YOU CAN APPEAR FOR UPSC even if you are studying B.Pharm. But you need to do study for the exam based on the syllabus announced by the exam authorities.

To be eligible for UPSC, you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in any discipline. Even degrees like B.Pharmacy, BPT, MBBS, BDS, are also acceptable. While there is no specific course that you should have completed your Bachelor's degree in, B.Pharmacy is an acceptable educational qualification To give you a glimpse of UPSC, UPSC is a 3 stage selection process involving Prelims, Mains and Interview which tests your personality test. Prelims has 2 Papers namely General Studies and CSAT.
General Studies has Current Events, History of India and Indian National Movement, Indian and World Geography, Indian Polity and Governance, Economic and Social Development, Environmental Ecology, Biodiversity and Climate Change and General Science.
CSAT has Comprehension, Interpersonal skills including communication skills, Logical Reasoning and Analytical ability, Decision making and problem solving, General Mental Ability, Basic numeracy and Data Interpretation.
You will need atleast to start preparing ahead of 1- 2 years. If you are preparing at home, you need to keep yourself away from distractions and focus on the goal ahead. Gather as much as information as you can on each topic and keep yourself updated. Practise mock test papers.
