nit , iit offer btech mtech or msc courses. but there is no lateral entry scheme in nits and iits as ther are run by central governemnt. state government engineering colleges has lateral entry scheme.

now coming to IIMS , you need to have a graduate degree to pursue mba or pgdm from iims. but you need to havew excellent academic score and high score in entrance exam for mba admission.
