At present is believe, CSE has much better Career scope and prospects than ECE. However, with increasing Automation, AI and Robotics, I believe the need for Software Engineers will become saturated and somewhat decrease in future over the next three decades. You will simply have to let the Robot know of your Problems, and he wil Encode an Application/ Software Product for you.
While Electronics as a branch will never lose its significance. You can enter the Software, Hardware, Core Electronics, Research, Materials/ Semiconductor, Public Sector, Space/Avionics Sector or the Automotive Industry with a degree in Electronics. Hence, if you get admission into a Tier 1 or Tier 2 Institute in Electronics, and if you are particularly interested in it, you may go for it, otherwise Computer Science is at present one of the Highest Paying Engineering Domains and has equally great placement aspect in India.
Hello,
Both branches are really good and hold many opportunities. I will list them out so that it may help you in deciding which is better for you.
