To get admission in design courses, candidates will have to go through three stages of admission which are DAT written test, studio test and personal interview. Candidates will be called for these rounds as per their performance in the DAT prelims entrance exam.

• Amity University, Mumbai

Candidates are eligible to enroll for animation course if they have cleared their 10+2 from a recognised board.

• PA Inamdar College of Visual Effects, Design and Art, Pune

Candidates are eligible to enroll for animation course if they have cleared their 10+2 from a recognised board.

• IIFA Multimedia, Srinivasanagar

Candidates can secure admission in this animation college if they have cleared their 10+2 from a recognized board. No separate entrance exam is conducted to offer admission to aspirants.

• MIT Institute of Design, MIT Art, Design and Technology University, Pune

In order to apply for admission in UG level animation courses offered by MIT Institute of Design, MIT Art, Design and Technology University, aspirants should have completed their 10+2 from any stream. Candidates who meet this eligibility criteria of this animation college and thereafter they need to appear for MITID-DAT.

In order to secure admission in animation related course offered by Unitedworld Institute of Design (UID), aspirants need to appear for UID Design Aptitude Test.

Candidates are eligible to enroll for animation course if they have cleared their 10+2 from a recognised board.

• World University of Design, Sonipat, Haryana

In order to secure admission in courses offered at World University of Design, aspirants need to appear for Design Aptitude Test (DAT), Art Aptitude Test (AAT) or General Aptitude Test (GAT). Apart from this, It also accepts valid scores of NIFT, CEED and UCEED exams in lieu of DAT and scores of CET, CAT, MAT and XAT are accepted in lieu of GAT.

• NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata

Candidates can secure admission in this animation college if they have cleared their 10+2 from a recognized board. No separate entrance exam is conducted to offer admission to aspirants.

• Picasso International Animation – VFX – Gaming College, Delhi, Ghaziabad,  Lucknow, Bangalore, Chandigarh and Udaipur.

Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay also have an animation course but you can only opt it for post graduation i.e. MDes in Animation and in order to secure admission in the animation course candidates need to clear CEED exam.
