best college is Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay In Mumbai

Hi Bhavy Sharma,

As per me, college should be able to fulfill below basic criterias -

• Training given to the Students should be of highest quality.
• It should be more practical oriented rather than theory.(More live case scenarios should be given to students to work upon)
• Placement is must after completing training.

Now i can see number of Institutions saying we provide best animation training, But in reality they have forgotten the meaning of Best. Many institutes lack Basic criteria which i mentioned earlier.

Generally most of the students prefer to learn animation to make a career out of it ,not just for hobby.which ever institute providing training should also concentrate on giving job opportunity along with quality training.

So keeping the basic 3 fundamentals in my mind I have shortlisted a few colleges-

• DSK International Campus in Pune

Established in 2008, DSKIC offers undergraduate level programs in 3D animation, graphics & web designing, multimedia as well as certificate courses in game art to candidates. This institute offers both advanced and short-term career oriented courses in animation with the latest in 2D and 3D animation. The training provided them is based on a standard approved by the CNCP of France.

• School of Animation and Visual Effects in Kolkata

Mayabious Academy which is a division of Mayabious Art, School of Animation and Visual Effects, commonly referred to as SAVE, was established in 2008. This Academy is the training division of the famous award winning animation studio, the studio credited with some of the first in Kolkata.

• Birla Institute of Technology in Noida, Jaipur

Animation programmers are offered at two centers of Birla Institute of Technology (BIT) which are Jaipur and Noida. BIT has excellent lab infrastructure for fine arts, 2D & 3D Animation, acting and well-equipped computer systems for multimedia application.

• Industrial Design Centre, IIT Bombay In Mumbai

Industrial Design Centre (IDC) was established by the Government of India in 1969 as part of Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay. The Institute is located on a 220 hectares green campus in the north eastern suburbs of Mumbai. The peaceful atmosphere of the campus belies the full range of activities that complement academic life.
