Bsc Agri is better than engineering?
It cannot be compared because
engineering is something which is
technical field and related to PCM group
for 11 and 12 classes whereas Bsc in
agriculture is related to PCB group along
with crop science. Pursuing Bsc in
agriculture you can prepare for
government agriculture officer posts
Therefore if you are not much interested
in maths and you want to join public
sector then BSc in agriculture is good
option whereas if you really are interested
in mathematics physics and chemistry
you can surely opt for engineering and can
work in both public as well as private
sector
Finally choice is yours
Hope you choose the best. All the very best
to you
Agriculture has a vast scope in India and a lot of research can be done in order to make the facilities provided to farmers and producers, better. But our nation lacks good professors/faculties in that course. Very few companies/statups are creating jobs for such people. So, people prefer engineering over agriculture. A lot of job opportunities exist currently, if you do good in college.
Both B.Sc in Agriculture and Engineering are two completely different disciplines and cannot be compared on any scale. It is entirely your calling.
While Bachelor of Science in Agriculture equips you with the knowledge to improve the agricultural conditions of our country,Bachelor of Technology equips you with the technical knowledge of the respective fields.
After completing your B.Sc in Agriculture you will get to work in private and government agricultural sectors while after completing Engineering you will get technical jobs relevant to your stream.
Hope this helps.
Good luck.
It really depends on your field of interest.
If you think you have inherited genes of agriculture or engineering go with that only.
Telling you frankly engineering has many job opportunities than bsc agriculture. Agriculture graduates have good chances and opportunities for government jobs as compared to engineers.
If you want to study agriculture only then go for B. Tech in agriculture engineering. If you are interested in other engineering streams then you can also go for other streams in engineering like cse, ece, ee, it, mechanical, civil, biotechnology, chemical engineering, aerospace engineering etc
Hello Sanket
