BSc honours chemistry scope and placement
BSc Hons in chemistry have a wide branch of applications. You can pursue Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering etc fields after your completion of BSc Chemistry. Also you can do MSc in chemistry from premiere institute in India like TIFR,IISER,IIT etc.So you have a lot of scope in academia.
Now a job after BSc is tougher to get. As the courses are designed such that the theoretical and academically ready but not for any direct approach to Industrial sectors. Now it also depends on the college you are studying , if the college offers placement then thats good but I am talking from the general perspective.So after pursuing MSc you will have a ample scope of jobs in Chemical Manufacturing companies , Pharmaceutical companies etc.
