Both are the best and preferred branches. Different reasons choosing cse over mech.
CSE-
IT is the dominant field. And scope for job opportunities and salary packages are high. You can get average of starting salary 5,00,000 per annum. Competition is always been high. Getting jobs abroad is also high.
Mech-
These engineers required in all industries. Scope of getting is high. These can also get jobs in indian railway. Enough job opportunities and scope in abroad is less. For me it is CSE. you will have to choose right course based on your interest and what is right for you.
