Dear Ganesh, you havent mentioned if your question is in regards to NEET. There is a limit of upto 40% disability that can be considered under PWD Category. Above 40%, the reservation doesnt apply. For being eligible for NEET, Candidates with PWD Category need to complete 10+2 and score an aggregate of 45% in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. And for being eligible in NEET, a PWD Candidate should score 45 percentile of top NEET score. Now the low vision criteria are not so clear but we have quite a few Disability Assessment Centres listed at mcc.nic.in. These Disability assessmebt centres assess the range of your disability and certify whether your candidature falls under PWD or not. These are MCI approved centres and they might help you guage your vision and check if you qualify.
