Can a Nepalese citizen married to an Indian give FMGE? She has done her MBBS from Bangladesh. What will be the documents required to submit?
Hello Rahul,
To take FMGE, you need to be an Indian National/Overseas Citizen of India. As you have mentioned, you are a citizen of Nepal and married to an Indian then you are not eligible for FMGE because you are not a citizen of India and you cannot apply for OCI card. In case you can want to apply for Indian citizenship then you can do so as per the Indian Citizenship Act (1955). A person who is married to a citizen of India and is ordinarily resident of India for seven years is eligible to apply for Indian citizenship.
You have also mentioned that you have completed MBBS from Bangladesh then you can check the options available in the country-.
If you wish to practice medicine in India you will be considered as a foreign national and you can seek permanent/temporary registration with the Medical Council of India (MCI). You can find the link of the form that needs to be filled for the same. Also, your medical school should be listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools.

In case, you want to pursue postgraduate medical education from the country then also you need to get registered with MCI and appear for postgraduate medical entrances.
Good Luck!
