Can a non-cse guy can give a gate exam in cse ?

Yes, you can surely give the exam.
I would like to inform you that in GATE 2015 , AIR 1 in computer science engineering is a Mechanical engineer.
It will take a lot of effort to get a good rank. But you can appear in the exam.
