CAN A NON-MEDICAL STUDENT AND A DEGREE IN COMPUTER SCIENCE OPT FOR UPSC

UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) is open for any degree holder or graduate. It really doesn't matter what you studied during your Bachelor's degree.
If you have great passion for subjects like Political Science, Ecomics, History, Polity, English and Current Affairs then you must opt for UPSC.

As per the eligibility criteria of UPSC Civil Services Examination, a non-medical student with a degree in Computer Science can opt for UPSC and is eligible for UPSC Civil Services Examination.

As per the UPSC Civil Services eligibility criteria, you just need to have a graduation in any stream from a recognized university. So, you can complete your graduation in any of the stream you are interested.
