Hi,

Yes, you can write NEET 2021 even being the first year student of any medical course. Candidate just need to have 50% aggregate marks in class 12 board examination for general category in physics , chemistry, biology for general category and 40% for reserved category students. If you meet the cutoff of your desired college, you can surely  choose that college but you will need to start the medical course from the first year in that specific college. You will not be admitted directly into the second year.
