Angular displacement and angular velocity first of all both are vector quantities. A vector quantity has both magnitude and direction. Angular velocity has a direction same as angular displacement. angular velocity refers to how fast an object rotates or revolves relative to another point, i.e. how fast the angular position or orientation of an object changes with time. Omega (w) is the symbol used to angular velocity.
Angular displacement of a body is the angle in radians through which a point revolves around a centre or line has been rotated in a specified sense about a specified axis.
