Mayank, this answer is being written assuming you have completed your B.Sc in Mathematics. But if your qualification is different, please do let us know. For studying M.Sc in Food Technology, you should have studied any one these subjects in your Graduation like Chemistry, Biochemistry, Botany, Zoology, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Home Science, Agriculture, Food Science and Nutrition and Food Technology. Now that you have studied Chemistry in your Graduation, you might be eligible for M.Sc in Food Technology. Few Universities insist you have Graduation in these subjects but few Universities will consider the fact that you studied Chemistry as a subject in your Graduation. So you have a chance to study M.Sc in Food Technology.
Hello dear student,
As you haven't mentioned the name of your course and I am afraid if it's not near by food technology then you cannot do MSc in this discipline . While as far as the general criteria says to study MSc in food Science and Technology: Eligibility- Bachelor's degree (B.Sc.) in Food Science, or another such relevant discipline, completed from a recognized university. A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation. I hope this was helpful
