Of course, you can take lateral entry admission in civil engineering but you will have to fulfill the eligibilityconditions.

Merit in LPUNEST, subject to fulfilling eligibility criteria.
It is a A three years engineering degree program for diploma holders which ensures the concepts from basic science to technology through lab practice and projects to gain knowledge in areas like Structural, Environmental & Highway Engineering, Construction Management which are in sync with industry expectations.
There are chances to choose a different branch in LPU but it shall be related to civil only if not civil exactly. Also there is a set of combinations you will be given options to choose from and you will have to decide accordingly.
