Hi Pranav: There are different cases you can relate to.
First, you're doing a job and still you want to take GATE, maybe because you're not satisfied with the job and salary and you want masters degree from a better college.
Second, if you have remained an average student. See, time is not a constraint. It is just the willingness to do things.
Thirdly, you're satisfied with your job but still you want to crack GATE for higher education in your current field or a different field. So, Pranav the conclusion is that If you are in the first or second case then you should quit your job and focus on gate fully without any loop holes. In third case you should focus on your job as well as studies simultaneously balancing both. Just study 3-4 hours daily and some extra time on weekends. You'll have to work hard as you've to handle both things in limited time. And yes 'if there is a will there's a way' . You can do it!
