Do a lot of practice, and surely you will get a good rank. The first step towards the preparation is that, collect the whole syllabus for IIT JEE Exam. Now there are 3 subjects in front of you i.e. physics, chemistry and maths.
Start from NCERT books. Until you get a strong grip over the concepts of ncert, don't try any other book. So firstly focus on ncert only.
Give proper time to your studies. Sleep properly, this will provide a rest to your brain.

Previous papers : This is most crucial part for preparation. More the papers you solve, the better your score will be. So go for solving previous year papers. You can also join test series of some coaching institute.

Yes , you can definitely crack jee 2022 with one year of preparation, there many students who either start their preparation in class 12 or after 12th take a drop of 1 year for jee examination and not only prepare in 1 year but get selected into good engineering College through jee mains, and some also get into iits by clearing advanced as well, you can do the same, all you need to do is be honest and dedicated towards your studies .
Follow the below tips to prepare well for your JEE -
* first of all make routine or timetable :- you can make a routine and try to give at least around 8 hours to study.
PHYSICS is the toughest part for most of the aspirants as it has both numericals and concepts to deal with , so keep at least 3 hours each day for Physics.
In Chemistry you have to deal with reactions and learn them and solve questions as well, so give at least 2 hours daily to Chemistry
Mathematics is all about practising questions, so try to give at least around 3 hours each day for maths

*practice questions:- after finishing each chapter you should practice numericals and mcqs
*You should practise at least 80 to100 numericals and mcqs in Each chapter to master concepts so that you can solve numericals and MCQs easily
* You should make chapterwise short notes for each chapter and it should contain all the important concepts and formulas.
* Set daily goals like I have to cover these many topics today, weekly goals like I have to cover these chapters this week and solve their mcqs too by the end of this week and similarly set monthly goals to cover the syllabus and meet them without any fail.
*Revise your concepts, important formulas etc at regular intervals, like once in a week or 15 days .
