Can I do diploma course before nift entrance examination?

The eligibility criteria in qualifications for admission in NIFT (UG courses), also includes Completed Diploma other than 10+2 passed from a recognized board or A passed grade in Senior Secondary School Examination held by National Open School with at least five subjects or General Certificate Education (GCE) Examination. For B.FTech (Apparel Production) Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics are required at senior secondary school, 10+2 level or GCE.
For B.Des. (Fashion Design/Leather Design/Accessory Design/Textile Design/Knitwear Design/Fashion Communication), 3 or 4 years diploma recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
For B.FTech (Apparel Production), three or four years' diploma in any branch of Engineering recognized by AICTE or a State Board of Technical Education.
