Diploma in Food Science and Technology is a very useful course as according to an IBEF report, India's food processing industry ranks sixth in the world in terms of production, consumption, export, and predicted growth, accounting for 32 percent of the country's food market.
Furthermore, India's food processing industry is one of the world's largest, with revenues estimated to exceed INR 40 thousand billion by 2025-26. It is also predicted to generate 9 million jobs by 2024.
After completing 12th grade or an equivalent level, students can pursue food technology courses at the diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate levels. Some of the Certification courses, however, can be taken after the tenth grade.
The eligibility of the course is your 10th or 10+2th obtained marks, on the basis of which you will be allotted a seat.
