Hello,
All the reputed Institutes in India has eligibility criteria for MBA, students have to meet it before admission. General eligibility is that 50%(45% in the case of reserved category) marks in graduation from a recognized university and need to secure good percentile in national level entrance tests(CAT, MAT and CMAT, etc...) or admission seeking institutes entrance tests like LPUNEST, DSAT, XAT, and SNAP. Same mark criteria are applicable in the case of distance mode also. My advice to you would be that try to improve the marks and go for an MBA.
Hope this information will help you.
Good Luck!
Hello Jebin,
Definitely, you can. But I would not assure you of something that is not meant to be.
First of all, 435 marks in MAT is not an ideal score to achieve calls from good B-schools. You might not realize it now, but it is extremely important to pursue your higher education in a reputed college, if not top 10, then at least aim for the top 30.
Secondly, instead of focussing on MAT exam, try opting for exams like CAT, XAT, IIFT, TISSNET, SNAP, NMAT, CMAT, MAH-CET. Reason being, most of the good colleges do not accept MAT scores.
I can suggest you colleges like GIBS Bangalore that might accept your MAT score. But the point is, it is not worth it. Kindly work hard and appear for the above-mentioned exams this year. All the best!
