Last year 60 to 65% people were placed in the companies like, Reliance, JSW, Hindalco. But nothing can be said about the package offered by these companies to the metallurgical students. Focus on your present to make the future better, so just keep on studying and I am sure your package will be satisfactory.

Don't make such large expectation just work hard to achieve your goal .Coming to point as you got metallurgical engineering then it does not have scope +placement like CSE and IT but if you really wants to get good package then make your academic so strong that you will get chance to slide your branch then it will help you to get good salary.
