Hello...
First of all I want to clarify that CGPA is not a criteria to judge the students for placement. CGPA will just help you to be shortlisted for top companies . Later your IQ will can help you to get qualify HR round and others round.
But if you take your subjects seriously and if your basics of branch is clear then you will get definitely placed in good companies with higher package .

Bhaiyya in metallurgical engineering can i expect 10-12lpa in nit nagpur but some say u cant get that much salary.

I study in vit Vellore and don't worry you will get that amount of package with proper subject knowledge and with a good coding skills
