Can I get a government seat through jee in a normal engineering college? Is that possible without out extra donations?

Hello,,
It depends on the colleges you are talking about. In general, nits, iiits, gftis take in students through jee mains. Many private institutes consider students' jee mains scores while taking students in. But you need to appear for their institutes exam too, in most cases. If you are talking about local colleges, then there might be chances. Please mention the name of the college to get more detailed answer.
