Hello,

Yes, it’s possible to seek admission in the 2nd semester of the 1st year in certain cases. Here's how:

  1. Research Universities : Some universities or colleges allow lateral entry for students switching streams mid-year. Check their policies.

  2. Apply for January/February Intake : Many institutions have a mid-year intake, offering 2nd-semester admissions for specific courses.

  3. Choose a New Stream : Decide on the stream or course you want to pursue (e.g., Arts, Commerce).

  4. Eligibility Criteria : Your 9th board marks are strong. Combine this with your current academic progress for eligibility.

  5. Bridge Programs : Some institutions offer foundation or bridge courses to help students transitioning between streams.

  6. Avoid Year Loss : A strategic shift now ensures you don’t lose a year but maintain focus on your preferred field.

Contact counselors at universities for guidance. Balancing clarity of goals with timing is crucial to avoid delays.

Hope it helps !
