Hello Aspirant,

Eamcet is an entrance exam conducted to get admissions in engineering and medical colleges.

There are 4 local regions. SVU, OSMANIA, JNTU, and AU. The local raank is the rank that represents your rank among the people of your region. This local rank is used to have a local priority. The state rank is used for the admission into any engineering college.

Hope this will help you. Good Luck.
