Can i get nit durgapur mechanical branch (other states) if my jee rank is 25k (obc) in special round

Hello Vivek,
With a OBC-NCL rank around 25k and that too under Other State quota, it seems difficult to get Mechanical branch in NIT Durgapur, even in the special rounds also. Last year, the closing OBC-NCL rank for Other State students was 5454 in the 7th round. So, this year also the trend will remain almost same. Hence, it seems unlikely that it would go far till 25k in the special round. But, worry not, you can get Mechanical branch in other good colleges. You can get a list of the colleges you are eligible for by using the college predictor:
