The National Institute of Technology Durgapur was established by the Government of India in 1960, as an Institute of National Importance. NIT Durgapur campus has been covered with around 187 acres. NIT Durgapur offers courses in the stream of Engineering, Sciences, Management, Arts and Humanities. NIT Durgapur (NIT DGP) offers a total of 56 courses including B.Tech, M.Sc, M.B.A, M.Tech and Ph.D.

To avail the National Institute of Technology Durgapur scholarships, the students who fulfill the necessary categories can get in touch with the authority of the institute.

The institute will be providing the students with a number of NIT Durgapur scholarship government scholarships namely- Financial Support to the Students of NER for Higher Professional Courses (NEC Merit Scholarship), ISHAN UDAY - Special Scholarship Scheme For North Eastern Region, Scholarships for Top Class Education for students with disabilities and others. College Infrastructure

NIT Durgapur Infrastructure is very good. There will be 3 students in each room, 2 fans, 2 lights, 3 beds, 3 tables, 3 chairs for 3 people. The hostel provides food thrice a day, in the morning, afternoon and night. The quality of the food is not very good but it is not bad. After online admission, there is physical reporting. What documents are required for hostel allotment? You will get the list of those through email from the college. You cannot stay in NIT Durgapur by taking a room/PG.

College Infrastructure

All the classes are smart classrooms, and we have a huge central library with free Wi-Fi. The labs are well-facilitated with good computers and a super-fast network. Our college itself is well known for quality food. However, the hostels are just okay. The value for money in the hostels is poor, but the food and other amenities provided are valuable for the given money.

Although the college infrastructure is good, but I think some more advancements should be done in order to make level with some top NIT's. Their is good facility of wifi is their in NIT durgapur. Also their are sports every year in the college.
