In 2019 a candidate belonging to OBC-NCl other state category with rank 6850 secured seat in NIT, Jamshedpur in Mechanical Engineering. Your over all rank is expected to be around 43450 and your rank based on category is expected to be in between 11,000-13,000. Considering this you may not get seat in this institute. You need to score minimum 97 percentile to have decent chances. But cut off is subjected to change depending on number of candidates appeared, number of seats available, difficulty of exam etc.
