Hey Deepesh !

125 is actually a great score for the UR Category candidates as far as the chances for securing a seat in one of the AIIMS is concerned.

Although, the governing body of AIIMS doesn't disclose the marks, but based upon the experience of toppers and Examinees, it's generally assumed good to score 120+ in order to own a chance.

Although your chances of securing a seat in the top AIIMS, generally that of Delhi, Jodhpur, Bhubaneshwar are almost nil, but you do have fairly good possibility of making it into AIIMS Patna, Nagpur and the recently opened ones.

Best Wishes friend !

Dear Aspirant,

There is no mark wise admission in AIIMS. You have to have a score of 99 percentile for a general category. i.e. you must have a rank in the top 1% of the students who have given the exam. Only 600 students are selected in AIIMS and Closing rank for AIIMS Delhi for UR category is 57.

This selection process is the reason why AIIMS is one of the most difficult exams in the country. Now to be in the top 1% scorers your score is low. Hence you won't be able to get admission in AIIMS.

Hope this answers your query.
