Can I go for food technology after taking bsc in chemistry?

Yes, you can do it if you fulfil the below written criteria.



Eligibility for Msc. in Food Technology/Science



Graduation completed from a recognized university.



A minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST/OBC candidates) at the level of graduation.



Graduation needs to have been completed in any of:Chemistry

Biochemistry

Botany

Zoology

Microbiology

Biotechnology

Home Science

Agriculture

Food Science and Nutrition

Food Technology



Candidates awaiting their graduation-level examinations results are also eligible to apply on provisional basis.

GATE:food technology entrance exam



AIJEE: All India Joint Entrance Exams



IIS: The Indian Institute of Science entrance exams



NEST: National Entrance and Scholarship Test for LPU

Yes you can took food technology after bsc in chemistry



Candidates must pass 10+ 2 basic subjects in physics, chemistry, and biology with minimal qualifications. Independent entrance exams for this program are also offered at several state, central, and private universities, which require up to 50% of exams.
