Yes ,you can get admission in IIMs even if you are from commerce.

This is because,

Admission in IIM is through CAT entrance examination and to be eligible for CAT there is no specific stream or subject in which one has to do graduation to be eligible. To be eligible for CAT one needs to be a graduate in any discipline so youwill be eligible for CAT examination even with a BCom Degree and after qualifying cat you can get admission in IIMs as well

To be eligible for CAT ,

• you need a Bachelor's/graduation degree in any discipline from a recognised university.

• you must have got at least 50 per cent marks or equivalent CGPA in your graduation . SC/ST/PH students need only at least 45 percentage in Bachelors Degree in any discipline to be eligible .

• Candidates who are in the final year of their graduation are also eligible for CAT examination.

• There is no age restriction to be eligible

• It is not mandatory to have work experience to be eligible
