Yes, you can join ISRO after a Polytechnic Diploma in Electronics and Telecommunication. However, a degree is very often a requirement for posts of more responsibility, like engineer technician, senior engineer, and what not, for B.E. or B.Tech

Qualification

1. Diploma would suffice for few jobs but for engineering cadre positions, a degree course would be preferred.
2. Maximum Age: 18 - 35 years, provided relaxations for reserved classes.
3. Entrance Tests: You may need to qualify written tests conducted by ISRO Centralized Recruitment Board, ICRB wherein interviews will also be conducted.
4. Skills: Knowledge of designing circuits, communication networks, and other electronic devices' software applications can be helpful for a candidate.

Average Salary:

• Diploma degree: Rs 25,000-Rs 40,000 per month may be their initial salary
• Engineering graduate: B.E/B. Tech Students may get a chance to start their work in Rs 56,000-Rs 80,000 per month.
