CAN I KNOW INFORMATION SCIENCE IS BETTER OR COMPUTER SCIENCE ENGINIRING? AS DIPLOMA
See for both the fields, the big corporates always try to adapt persons who are BTech graduate. So to have the best career ahead you should take admission to BTech CSE after your Diploma through lateral entry examination which will avail you direct admission to the 2nd year of BTech.
Now if you want to go for a broad field ahead then I would recommend you to go for CSE. Here are some of the facts:
- CSE approaches equally on theory as well as applications where as IT is more focused on applications.
- CSE helps you to study more fundamental and innovative concepts of computer and its systems engineering where as IT provides innovative uses of the designs produced by CSE.
- CSE requires a use of mathematical knowledges in implementation but in case of IT , the mathematical proficiency is entirely based upon statistics,processing,data-analysis etc.
- You may call IT as a sub-division of CSE but there lies some unique subjects like systems management in IT only.
So this are the basic differences about both of the fields. Now placements didn't have a lot of variance. Usually engineers from both this fields works hand-in-hand in corporates.SO there is equal amount of exposure for both of this field.
If you have a good rank for CSE go for it if not then you can go for IT which will not disappoint you because all the requirements are your skills not the educational degree you are having. So work hard and you will succeed.
Also I would recommend you to do a research on your own about the subjects & then come to conclusion. It will help you.
